1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and RapidCaption (“RapidCaption,” “we,” “us” or “our”). If you use RapidCaption for a business or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it.
You must not use the service if you do not agree. Additional terms shown at checkout or for a specific feature also apply to that purchase or feature.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, and legally able to enter this agreement.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your password and access methods secure.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly notify us of unauthorized access.
- One person or organization must not create accounts to abuse free minutes, referral rewards or service limits.
3. The RapidCaption service
RapidCaption provides tools for captioning, editing, processing and exporting video, audio, subtitle and related media. Some functions use automated or artificial-intelligence systems. Results may contain mistakes, timing differences or unexpected edits, so you are responsible for reviewing every result before publishing or relying on it.
Features, presets, supported formats, processing speed and availability may change as we improve the service. We may set reasonable technical and usage limits to protect customers and system stability.
4. Your content and permission to process it
You keep ownership of media, text, fonts, logos and other material you upload or create (“User Content”). You grant RapidCaption a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transcode, analyze, modify and display User Content only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, support and improve the service for you.
You confirm that you have all rights and permissions needed for your User Content and for the edits, captions and exports you create. Do not upload private, copyrighted, biometric or other protected material unless you are authorized to process it.
Standalone tool outputs are uploaded for administrator review and deleted from temporary storage after six hours. This includes completed outputs generated on your device. Tool output records are not added to your account’s export history.
Completed exports and working files may be stored temporarily. Download important results promptly and keep your own backups.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use RapidCaption to:
- break the law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, or create harmful, deceptive or abusive content;
- upload malware, probe security, bypass access controls, interfere with service operation or attempt unauthorized access;
- reverse engineer or resell the service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- automate requests in a way that overloads the service or avoids account, payment, export or usage restrictions;
- manipulate subscriptions, credits, referrals, commissions, refunds, analytics or payment events.
We may investigate suspected abuse and preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or comply with law.
6. Plans, billing and cancellation
Paid RapidCaption plans are monthly subscriptions processed through Lemon Squeezy. The price, included minutes, billing interval, taxes and checkout terms shown before payment apply to your order.
- Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled through the available account or payment-provider controls.
- Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically reverse a completed payment or erase minutes already granted.
- Refunds are handled under applicable law and any policy shown at checkout. A refund, chargeback or reversal may remove related credits, bonus minutes and affiliate commission.
- You are responsible for keeping payment and billing information current. RapidCaption never asks you to place Lemon Squeezy secret keys in the browser.
Lemon Squeezy’s own terms and privacy practices separately govern its checkout and payment processing.
7. Video minutes and exports
Video minutes are usage credits, not cash, cryptocurrency or stored monetary value. The amount required for an export is based on the duration and export option shown in the editor. Free and paid plans may have different resolution, watermark, history or other limits.
Paid plan minutes are granted after RapidCaption receives a valid confirmed payment event. Failed or cancelled export jobs are eligible for automatic credit restoration where the system records that the export did not complete. Credits may be corrected or removed when granted by mistake, fraud, duplicate event, refund or payment reversal.
Export History lets you monitor registered server jobs. Keep the editor open until preparation is complete and the job is registered; once it is registered, server processing can continue without that editor tab.
8. RapidCaption Affiliate Program
Eligible registered users may access a unique affiliate link and dashboard without a separate application. By sharing the link or requesting a payout, you also agree to this section.
8.1 Registration-based attribution
A referral relationship is created only when a brand-new user successfully registers with a valid affiliate code. Opening a link alone does not assign a referral, and RapidCaption does not use a referral cookie to reserve attribution. If a person opens one affiliate link but registers through another, the code submitted with the successful registration controls. An existing account cannot later be reassigned, and an established referral relationship is permanent for attribution records.
8.2 Eligible payments and the 12-month earning window
An eligible payment is a successful, non-test payment for a listed RapidCaption Starter, Creator or Pro subscription made by a valid referred user while the affiliate account is active. The affiliate receives 25% commission on eligible payments and renewals made before the exact 12-month anniversary of that referred user’s registration. Payments made on or after that anniversary do not earn new commission or referral bonus minutes. This limit applies separately to each referred user.
Current plan bonus minutes for eligible invoices are 6 minutes for Starter, 20 minutes for Creator and 50 minutes for Pro. We may change plans, pricing, bonus minutes or commission terms prospectively after notice or publication of updated Terms.
8.3 Holds, reversals and withdrawals
Each eligible commission enters a 15-day review period before becoming available. This gives time to identify refunds, chargebacks, reversed payments, duplicate events and fraud. Related commission and bonus minutes may be partially or fully reversed.
You may submit a withdrawal when at least 10 USDT is available. Payouts are reviewed manually and sent as USDT only on the TRON TRC20 network. A fixed 1 USDT network fee is deducted from the requested amount; for example, a 10 USDT request sends 9 USDT. Eligible approved requests are completed within 48 hours after submission, usually sooner.
You are responsible for entering a valid wallet that supports USDT on TRC20. Blockchain transfers are generally irreversible. RapidCaption is not responsible for loss caused by an incorrect address, unsupported network, wallet restriction or information you supplied incorrectly.
8.4 Honest promotion and disclosure
Affiliate promotions must be truthful, accurate and lawful. Clearly and conspicuously tell your audience that you may earn a commission, close to the recommendation or link. A plain statement such as “I earn a commission if you purchase through this link” is acceptable when it is easy to notice and understand. Follow the advertising, privacy, anti-spam and platform rules that apply where you promote.
You may not use spam, fake accounts, self-referrals, fabricated claims, fake or unauthorized coupons, misleading redirects, impersonation, trademark misuse, cloned RapidCaption pages, malware, traffic interception, automated conversions or any method intended to manipulate attribution or rewards. You may not claim to be a RapidCaption employee, agent or official representative.
8.5 Affiliate status, taxes and program changes
Affiliates act independently and have no authority to bind RapidCaption. You are responsible for your taxes, wallet compliance and any records required where you live. We may suspend an affiliate, reject a payout or reverse unpaid rewards when evidence reasonably indicates fraud, abuse, a payment reversal or breach of these Terms. RapidCaption may change or discontinue the program prospectively; valid completed payouts remain recorded.
9. Third-party services and assets
RapidCaption may connect to payment, authentication, media, artificial-intelligence, storage, font, stock-asset or infrastructure providers. Their services may be unavailable or governed by separate terms. You are responsible for complying with third-party licenses attached to assets you choose to use.
10. RapidCaption ownership
RapidCaption and its software, interface, designs, code, workflows, trademarks and original materials belong to RapidCaption or its licensors. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. Feedback may be used without restriction or compensation, but we will not identify you publicly as its source without permission.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using RapidCaption at any time. We may limit, suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, nonpayment, material breach, fraud, service protection or discontinuation. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.
Terms that by their nature should continue—including ownership, payment corrections, affiliate reversals, disclaimers and liability limits—survive termination.
12. Service disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RapidCaption is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect captions, exact compatibility with every browser or device, permanent file storage, or that automated edits will meet every purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RapidCaption will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for lost profits, data, opportunity or reputation arising from the service. RapidCaption’s total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid to RapidCaption for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where applicable law does not allow them.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, security, billing or Affiliate Program changes. We will publish the revised effective date and provide additional notice for material changes when reasonably practical. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not agree, stop using the service before that date.
15. General terms
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only as necessary and the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or rights under these Terms without permission. These Terms, together with applicable checkout and feature terms, are the agreement between you and RapidCaption concerning the service.
Mandatory consumer protections and legal rights that apply where you live remain unaffected. Before beginning formal proceedings, please contact us and give both sides a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
16. Contact
For questions about these Terms, billing, affiliate rewards or account access, use the support or contact channel shown on the RapidCaption website or in your account. Include your account email and enough detail for us to locate the issue, but never send a password, API key, webhook secret or wallet recovery phrase.
